Our Story
Founded in 1994, the International Aesthetic Certification Academy (IACA) was born from a simple, yet powerful idea: to bring structure, ethics, and international recognition to the rapidly growing field of injectable aesthetic medicine.
At the time, aesthetic procedures were spreading fast — but without a global standard for skills verification. IACA emerged to fill that void.
Over three decades, we have become a trusted certifying body for thousands of aesthetic practitioners, medics, nurses, dentists, and private training academies across 40+ countries.
Our mission is to enable aesthetic professionals to grow with credibility, safety, and confidence — backed by global recognition.
Our Founder:
Dr. Natalia Pavlenko, M.D.
Dr. Natalia Pavlenko is a renowned European expert in aesthetic medicine, injectables, and medical education. With over 20 years of clinical experience and 12 years in international curriculum design, she remains the scientific lead and honorary chair of IACA.
She is:
- Author of 50+ peer-reviewed articles in dermatology and cosmetic sciences
- Former visiting lecturer at the European School of Aesthetic Medicine3
- Founder of the Global Standards for Injection Protocols Initiative (GSIPI)
- Member of the European Society of Cosmetic & Aesthetic Medicine
Dr. Pavlenko’s vision was to create a transparent, accessible, and elegant certification system, enabling aesthetic practitioners from different countries to obtain a globally respected credential — even without access to formal university-level education.
